SFA's Atomic Mouse

In the early 2000s, Shanda Fantasy Arts revived the classic funny-animal hero for a three-issue miniseries that reimagined Atomic Mouse for a new generation. This short run, written and drawn by creator Jimmy Gownley, brought a modern, heartfelt sensibility to the character's adventures while retaining the charm of the original. Though brief, the series is a notable example of independent comics' efforts to update Golden Age properties with fresh storytelling.
