Serie-paraden [Serieparaden]

A quirky, long-running Swedish anthology series that mixed classic newspaper reprints with original local material, Serieparaden ran for nearly a decade from Semic Press. Best known to international readers for its extensive run of Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes—which appeared in every issue—the series also featured the work of prolific Swedish cartoonist Alf Thorsjö. Its 96-issue span made it a staple of 1990s Swedish comic shops, offering a unique blend of American and homegrown humor.
