A short-lived but lively Swedish anthology series from Centerförlaget, Serie-nytt (1968–1970) delivered 23 issues of translated international comics to local readers. Though the original writers and translators are largely uncredited, the series served as a key pipeline for bringing foreign adventure and humor strips to a Scandinavian audience during the late '60s.
