In the late 1990s, the German publisher Ten Eyes launched Sendeschluss, a photocomic series captured entirely through photography rather than traditional illustration. The series, which debuted with a single issue and continues to the present day, is most associated with its founding artist, known only by the initial "?" (Foto).
