Scooter Girl

Chynna Clugston Flores writes and draws this Image Comics series, which began in 2017. Scooter Girl follows a young woman navigating life, love, and the Southern California skate-and-surf scene with Flores's signature manga-influenced style and sharp, character-driven dialogue. Though brief in its initial run, the series captures a distinct, offbeat voice in indie comics.
