About the series
This 1975–1976 Charlton Comics series adapted the beloved Saturday-morning cartoon into a short-lived but fondly remembered comic. Scripted primarily by Joe Gill and Tom DeFalco, with art by Bill Williams, it followed the classic adventures of Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma as they unmasked spooky villains in the Mystery Machine. Though it ran only eleven issues, it captured the playful, monster-of-the-week spirit that made the show a pop-culture staple.
