Sargento Furia

From 1974 to 1975, Ediciones Vértice published Sargento Furia, a 32-issue war comic series most frequently illustrated by the prolific Spanish artist Rafael López Espí. The series follows the gritty exploits of a tough, battle-hardened soldier, delivering action-packed, no-frills combat stories that reflected the popular war comics tradition of the era. Though short-lived, it stands as a notable example of Spanish comic book artistry and genre storytelling from the mid-1970s.
