Sankarea

Sankarea, published by Egmont Ehapa from 2014 to 2016, is a German-edition comic adaptation of the manga series by creator Mitsuru Hattori. Spanning 11 issues, it follows the story of a zombie-obsessed boy whose fascination with the undead takes a literal turn when he accidentally resurrects a girl. This series is notable for blending horror, romance, and dark comedy, offering a unique take on the classic zombie genre within a manga-inspired European comic format.
