About the series
Set in the aftermath of the French Revolution, Sambre is a historical drama from Finix that began in 2020. Created by writer-artist Yslaire, with co-writer Saskia Funke, the series explores the turbulent lives and loves of its characters against a backdrop of political upheaval. With only two issues published so far, it continues Yslaire’s acclaimed, visually lush storytelling in the Sambre universe.
