Sam Hill Private Eye Comics

From 1952, Thorpe & Porter published a five-issue run of Sam Hill Private Eye Comics, a short-lived but fondly remembered British comic series. Most frequently illustrated by Harry Lucey, the series followed the gritty, postwar adventures of its titular detective. Though brief, it stands as a notable early example of UK-published private eye comics.
