Rusty Riley

Frank Godwin's classic newspaper strip about a young orphan and his dog found a second life in this five-issue Australian comic series from Yaffa/Page, running from 1965 to 1967. While Godwin himself contributed writing and art, the series also featured the work of Australian artist Keith Chatto, giving the adventures of Rusty Riley a distinct local flavor. This brief but fondly remembered run brought Godwin's beloved, long-running strip to a new audience Down Under.
