Ruines

A two-part series from French publisher çà et là, Ruines (2015–present) is a spare, atmospheric work that explores the aftermath of catastrophe through silent, painterly storytelling. The project is most closely associated with its creator, who uses haunting, wordless sequences to evoke the weight of loss and the slow reclamation of space by nature.
