Årsboken

Published between 2000 and 2006, Årsboken was an annual comics anthology produced by the students of the Serietecknarskolan i Malmö (Malmö School of Comic Art). This six-issue series served as a showcase for emerging Swedish cartoonists, offering a platform for a new generation of creators to experiment and develop their craft. Its significance lies in documenting the early work of many artists who would go on to shape the Scandinavian comics landscape, making it a vital snapshot of a formative period in Swedish sequential art.
