Roy Rogers' Trigger

From 1950 onward, World Distributors published 11 issues of Roy Rogers' Trigger, a comic series that put the beloved horse of the silver screen in the spotlight. Written most frequently by Gaylord Du Bois and illustrated by Sam Savitt and Nicholas Firfires, the strip offered wholesome Western adventures for young readers. While Roy Rogers himself often appeared, the series was unique in centering its stories on Trigger's perspective, making it a charming, animal-focused entry in the golden age of cowboy comics.
