Rostige Herzen

In Rostige Herzen (2023–present, Carlsen Comics), a steampunk-tinged German comic series, a young woman's life is upended when she inherits a mysterious mechanical heart from her late father, setting her on a collision course with a shadowy organization. Written by BéKa, José-Luis Munuera, and Marcel Le Comte, with art by Munuera, the series blends adventure and intrigue in a richly imagined, rust-and-gear-filled world. With only two issues released so far, it's a compact, atmospheric tale that stands out for its European sensibility and evocative visual storytelling.
