Romeo and Juliet

Pendulum Press launched this adaptation of Shakespeare's classic tragedy as a single-issue comic in 1980, adapting the timeless tale of star-crossed lovers into a visual narrative. Writer Rich Margopoulos, working from the original text by William Shakespeare, teamed with artist Nestor Redondo to bring the Verona feud and its tragic romance to the comics page. This entry in Pendulum's line of literary adaptations made the play accessible to a new generation of readers.
