Rome Eternal

From 2024 to 2025, Magma Comix published Rome Eternal, a two-issue miniseries that reimagines the Eternal City as a dystopian battleground where ancient Roman mythology collides with a high-tech future. Written by the series' creator, the story follows a lone gladiator navigating a crumbling metropolis ruled by a corrupt Senate and the last vestiges of the gods' influence. With its striking, moody art and compressed narrative, the series offers a standalone, self-contained tale that blends sword-and-sandal spectacle with sci-fi intrigue.
