Rocket Comics

Rocket Comics, published by Maple Leaf Publishing from 1941 to 1946, was a 32-issue Canadian comic series that emerged during the Golden Age of comics, offering a homegrown alternative to American imports during the wartime ban. Most associated with the creative team of artist Ted McCall and writer/artist Adrian Dingle, the series featured the patriotic superhero Nelvana of the Northern Lights, a groundbreaking Indigenous-inspired heroine.
