Robín y el Murciélago

In the late 1940s, the Mexican publisher Ibero-Americanas released this short-lived 13-issue series, Robín y el Murciélago, which offered a unique regional take on the dynamic between a young sidekick and his caped mentor. Blending adventure with a distinctly Latin American sensibility, the comic ran for just over a year, from 1947 to 1948. Though its creators remain uncredited in the surviving records, the series stands as an early and fascinating example of how iconic superhero archetypes were localized for international audiences in the post-war era.
