From 1961 to 1962, Danish publisher Interpresse brought the iconic German Shepherd movie and TV star to comics in a five-issue series. Each issue presented self-contained adventures of the heroic dog and his young master, Rusty, capturing the wholesome, frontier spirit of the beloved television show. Though short-lived, the series stands as a charming European adaptation of a classic American pop-culture icon.
