About the series
In the late 1980s, Swedish publisher Alvglans revived Stan Lynde's classic western newspaper strip Rick O'Shay for a brief, three-issue comic book run. This series collected and reprinted the adventures of the easygoing sheriff of Conniption, blending humor and action in the tradition of the original strip. Though short-lived, it offered a fond look back at one of the most beloved cowboy comics of the mid-20th century.
