In the mid-1980s, German publisher Bastei Verlag brought the classic Franco-Belgian adventure series Rick to its audience for a nine-issue run. Written by André-Paul Duchâteau and illustrated by Tibet, the strip follows the globe-trotting exploits of a young journalist and his friends, blending mystery and action in the tradition of European comics. Though short-lived, this series represents a notable German-language edition of a beloved European property.
