About the series
From 1975 to 1982, Harvey Comics gave the world's richest kid his own prestige showcase with Richie Rich Gold and Silver, a 42-issue series that ran alongside his main title. Known for its distinctive metallic-ink covers, the book featured Richie, his friend Gloria Glad, butler Cadbury, and the rest of the Rich family in lighthearted, all-ages adventures. Artist Ernie Colón was a frequent contributor, lending his clean, expressive style to the series' blend of gentle humor and wish-fulfillment fantasy. It stands as a classic example of Harvey's kid-friendly output during the Bronze Age, offering a polished spin on a beloved character.
