About the series
In 1998, Image Comics brought the survival-horror world of Resident Evil to the printed page with a taut four-issue series. Scripted by Ted Adams and illustrated by Carlos D’Anda and Ryan Odagawa, the story expands on the lore of the first video game, sending S.T.A.R.S. members into a nightmare of Umbrella’s bio-organic weapons. It remains a faithful, atmospheric adaptation that captured the franchise’s creeping dread before the games became a global phenomenon.
