Reptisaurus

Reptisaurus, a monster-mash comic from Charlton, ran for six issues beginning in 1962. Writer Joe Gill and artists Joe Sinnott, Bill Montes, and Mobil brought the titular giant reptile to life, pitting him against military forces and other prehistoric threats in a straightforward, action-packed series. While short-lived, it stands as a classic example of the atomic-age creature comics that populated newsstands in the early 1960s.
