In the short-lived 2011–2012 series Replica, published by Digital Manga, Inc., writer and artist team up for a taut, three-issue sci-fi thriller about identity and technology. The story follows a woman who discovers she is a clone, forced to confront the implications of her manufactured existence. Though brief, the series earned notice for its sleek art and noir-tinged exploration of what it means to be human.
