First appearing in 1935, Reizen en avonturen van mijnheer Prikkebeen is a Dutch comic series from the publisher Het Jeugdfonds that follows the whimsical travels of its eccentric, long-nosed protagonist. Though only a single issue was published, this series remains a notable early example of Dutch comics, adapting the classic 19th-century character from the popular children's book by J.J.A. Goeverneur. Its legacy lies in introducing a beloved literary figure to a new generation in a comic format.
