Reactor Girl

From 1991 to 1993, Tragedy Strikes Press published Reactor Girl, a six-issue series that blended offbeat superheroics with the emerging alternative-comics sensibility of the early 1990s. Most frequently written by Dylan Horrocks, Michel Vrána, and Paula Hammond, and illustrated by Horrocks and Stephen Lillie, the series offers a quirky, character-driven take on a radioactive protagonist navigating a world of personal and cosmic weirdness. A cult artifact of its era, it showcases the inventive, small-press energy that defined much of the decade's most adventurous storytelling.
