Rawhide

In the mid-1970s, Magazine Management turned out three issues of Rawhide, a Western comic strip adaptation starring the stoic, wandering hero of the classic TV series. Artist Dan Spiegle, the most frequent hand on the title, brought a clean, cinematic clarity to the dusty frontier landscapes and action. Though brief, the series captured the laconic, morally grounded tone of the original show for a comics audience.
