Rawhide

Based on the TV series, Rawhide (1960–1965) from Magazine Management ran for seven issues, adapting the adventures of trail boss Gil Favor and his crew driving cattle across the Old West. The comics were most frequently scripted by the television writing team of Eric Freiwald and Robert Schaefer, with artwork by Warren Tufts and a heavy reliance on photographs from the show. This series offers a snapshot of how a popular Western television property was translated into a short-lived comic book tie-in during the early 1960s.
