A three-issue anthology from Penguin (1989–1991), Raw showcased the avant-garde comic work of Richard McGuire and Robert Sikoryak, whose contributions defined this brief but distinctive series. As an offshoot of the legendary Raw magazine, it offered a curated dose of experimental storytelling and bold visual art. While short-lived, the series captured a pivotal moment in alternative comics, preserving the raw, unpolished energy of its era.
