Rakan

Rakan, launched in 2006 by AK Comics, is a superhero series set in the fictional Middle Eastern metropolis of Aya. Created by a team including writer B. Alex and artist A. H. Al-Mutairi, the series follows the adventures of a young man who gains superhuman abilities after being exposed to ancient mystical forces. With only six issues published, Rakan is notable as one of the first original Arabic superhero comics to gain international attention, blending regional mythology with classic superhero storytelling.
