Railroad Stories

Published by The Frank A. Munsey Company from 1932 to 1937, Railroad Stories was a short-lived comic series spanning 18 issues that focused on the romance and adventure of rail travel during the Great Depression. Writers Rob L. Lawrence and Stookie Allen, who also contributed art alongside photographic elements, crafted tales celebrating the golden age of locomotives. Though obscure today, the series stands as a niche artifact of early 1930s comics, capturing a moment when the rails symbolized both industry and escape.
