Radio Pattuglia
Nerbini · 1935–1938 · 11 issues
About the series
In the mid-1930s, Italian publisher Nerbini brought the American newspaper strip Radio Patrol to comic book form as Radio Pattuglia, running for 11 issues from 1935 to 1938. The series adapted the daily adventures of a police radio squad, written by Eddie Sullivan and illustrated by Charlie Schmidt, offering Italian readers a taste of streamlined, action-oriented crime-fighting. While a licensed translation, it stands as a notable early example of how American comics were repackaged for European audiences during the Golden Age.
