From Chaos! Comics, Purgatori launched in 2000 as a darkly playful supernatural series. Created primarily by writer Steven Grant and artist Al Rio, the book follows a vampire goddess navigating a world of chaos and vengeance. Its single issue introduced a distinctive antihero who would go on to become a cult icon in the publisher’s horror-comedy universe.
