Punisher: Franken-Castle

Rick Remender and John Romita Jr. kicked off this short-lived Marvel run in 2010, merging the Punisher’s brutal vigilante world with monster-movie mayhem. After a devastating battle with Wolverine, Frank Castle is resurrected as a patchwork creature of metal and flesh—a Franken-Castle—leading a new war against the supernatural. This single-issue experiment briefly redefined the Punisher’s identity, blending horror, dark humor, and Remender’s signature over-the-top action.
