Pumby

A short-lived but lively Portuguese comic series from Agência Portuguesa de Revistas, Pumby ran for 27 issues between 1969 and 1970, featuring the adventures of its titular anthropomorphic cat. While the series is best remembered for the work of its primary creator, the artist and writer José de Sousa, it remains a charming, if brief, footnote in the history of Portuguese children's comics.
