Pulp Action

Avalon Communications' Pulp Action (1999–2000) was an eight-issue revival of classic pulp heroics, pairing writer Walter Gibson and artist Vernon Greene for a modern take on The Shadow. The series follows Lamont Cranston and his ally Margo Lane as they battle crime and corruption, channeling the grim, atmospheric tone of the original 1930s stories. It stands as a faithful, late-era homage to the character's pulp roots.
