Psychic Detective Yakumo

Based on the supernatural mystery novels by Manabu Kaminaga, Psychic Detective Yakumo is a Tokyopop manga series that ran from 2011 to 2017. It follows Yakumo Saitou, a cynical college student whose red right eye can see and communicate with spirits, as he reluctantly uses his ability to solve crimes alongside the earnest, skeptical reporter Haruka Ozawa. Adapted into comics by writer/producer Suzuka Oda and artist Rando Ayamine, the series blends police procedural and ghost story, grounding its supernatural detective work in a moody, urban atmosphere.
