Prophet

A bold, psychedelic reinvention of the 1990s Extreme Studios property, Image Comics’ Prophet (2012–2017) reimagines the original character as a cloned soldier awakened in a bizarre, far-future Earth teeming with alien landscapes and forgotten empires. Driven primarily by the collaborative vision of writers/artists Brandon Graham, Simon Roy, and Giannis Milonogiannis, the series follows John Prophet on a surreal, sprawling quest across a universe where ancient conspiracies and bizarre lifeforms collide. With its dense, hand-drawn worldbuilding and experimental narrative, the series became a landmark of Image’s creator-owned renaissance, celebrated for its imaginative scope and cohesive artistic voice.
