Prison Pit

Prison Pit is a brutal, unrelenting series from Mishka Press that began in 2019, created by writer/artist Johnny Ryan. Set in a hellish, surreal prison dimension, the comic follows the absurdly violent exploits of its grotesque inmates, blending over-the-top gore with dark, deadpan humor. Though only two issues have been released so far, the series has already carved out a cult niche for its uncompromising, visceral style and Ryan’s singular, raw artistic vision.
