About the series
A short-lived but fondly remembered IDW revival, Powerpuff Girls Classics (2013–present) collected the earliest comic-book adventures of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup from the late 1990s and early 2000s. Though only two issues were released, the series serves as a charming time capsule of the original Cartoon Network show’s manic energy, spotlighting the work of creator Craig McCracken and the comic’s original writers and artists. It’s a neat, bite-sized trip back to the glory days of Townsville’s pint-sized superheroines.
