Popeye el marino

In 1957, Chile's Editorial Lord Cochrane launched Popeye el marino, a Spanish-language comic series built around the iconic sailor created by E. C. Segar. Bud Sagendorf, the writer and artist most closely associated with the title, brought his signature, lively cartooning to these adventures. Though the series ran for just a single issue, it stands as a notable international publishing effort, bringing the spinach-loving Popeye to a new audience in South America during the mid-20th century.
