Poison Elves

From 1993 to 1995, Mulehide Graphics published Poison Elves, a scrappy, indie fantasy series driven by writer/artist Drew Hayes—with contributions from Robb Horan, Joseph Michael Linsner, and Michael Cohen. Over its 13-issue run, the book followed a cynical, wisecracking elf navigating a gritty, magic-infused world, blending dark humor with raw, energetic art. A cult favorite of the '90s small-press boom, it earned its reputation for Hayes's distinctive voice and the series' unpolished, personal charm.
