In the early 1950s, Frew Publications launched this short-lived Australian comic series, written and drawn entirely by Lloyd Piper. Over just five issues, Planetman offered a distinct, locally crafted take on the space-faring hero archetype, standing apart from the flood of American imports dominating local newsstands.
