Planetary

A two-issue Brazilian edition from Panini Brasil, this 2019–present series collects the work of writer Warren Ellis and artist John Cassaday, whose acclaimed run on Planetary originally redefined the superhero genre through the lens of archeological mystery. It follows a team of "mystery archaeologists" who uncover the hidden, secret history of the 20th century's pop culture and superhuman phenomena. Though brief in this format, the series matters as a compact entry point into one of the most celebrated, conceptually ambitious comics of the 2000s.
