Pikku Lulu

In the early 1960s, Finnish publisher Kustantaja Menekkilehdet Oy brought the beloved American comic strip character Pikku Lulu (Little Lulu) to local audiences with a nine-issue series. This short-lived run captured the mischievous adventures of the iconic, pigtailed girl and her neighborhood friends, offering Finnish readers a charming slice of mid-century humor. While the series was brief, it stands as a notable early example of translated international comics finding a home in Finland.
