About the series
In the mid-1980s, Italian publisher Ediperiodici unleashed Pig, a 64-issue series that blended horror, eroticism, and dark fantasy into a uniquely transgressive comic. Most frequently illustrated by the atmospheric art of Enzo Sciotti and Mario Caria, the series carved out a notorious place in the Italian fumetti scene by pushing boundaries of gore and sexuality. Its lurid, surreal covers and unapologetically adult storytelling made it a cult touchstone for fans of extreme European comics.
