Phoenix

From 1975, Seaboard's short-lived Phoenix series ran four issues, blending supernatural adventure with a touch of sci-fi. Most frequently written by Gabriel Levy, Jeff Rovin, and Gary Friedrich, with art by Sal Amendola and Ric Estrada, the title followed Ed Tyler as he transformed into the fiery, costumed hero Phoenix. Though brief, it stands as a distinctive example of 1970s independent superhero storytelling.
