About the series
During its 2012–2016 run at Image, Peter Panzerfaust reimagined J.M. Barrie's classic tale as a World War II resistance story, with a band of orphaned children in Nazi-occupied France led by a charismatic American named Peter. Written primarily by Kurtis J. Wiebe, the series paired his tense, character-driven scripts with the expressive, watercolor-infused art of Tyler Jenkins and the clean lines of Nate Bellegarde.
